With support from WSSCC, CBSA members SOIL (Haiti) and x-runner (Peru) attended LatinoSan in Costa Rica with colleagues from the Haitian government.

Both CBSA members presented case studies during sessions on innovative financing and on using Shit Flow Diagrams (SFDs) with municipal decision-makers.

Engagement at LatinoSan generated high-level support for CBS from several colleagues including the Chief of the Water and Sanitation Division, IDB who endorsed CBS as an optimal, people-first approach at the SWA Sector Minister Meeting and also highlighted how the private sector can help drive innovation in sanitation service delivery.
