We are happy to announce that Sanitation Ambassadors have become affiliate members of the CBSA. Sanitation Ambassadors are a South Africa-based non-profit company that have developed a hygienic sanitation solution for South African schools. They aim to provide dignity and convenience to students and teachers without impacting their environment.
They have developed WASH centres – flat pack units with a simple installation process, allowing the facilities to be erected quickly and easily scaled up. The panels are made from re-used non-recyclable plastic that usually end up in landfills. Each WASH centre houses 3 Swedish-designed hybrid urine-diverting dry toilet (UDDT) which separate the waste streams at source.
